About
Troy McClellan has been involved in audio visual production for over 25 years. He attended Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio and composed original music soundtracks for the Ward Beecher Planetarium at YSU, including “Serpents of the Sun”, which was later distributed to many other planetariums in Ohio. Some of his most recent music was composed for Geographics Imaging and Eastern Florida State College Planetarium for their full dome show entitled Firefall. In addition, Troy has had the opportunity to photograph the final space shuttle missions and numerous rocket launches from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
Troy has created video, 3D models, and animations for many companies including Creation Studios, Inc., Global Energy Solutions, Lost Films Productions, Sanborn Studios, Audio-Visual Imagineering and more. His artwork has been displayed in many countries throughout the world including, but not limited to Australia, Denmark, Egypt, England, Germany, Mexico, and South Korea. He also created and produced a video demonstration including 3D animated models of cutting edge environmental technology that was presented at the United Nations in New York City. The current studio contains state of the art recording and production equipment offering complete music production, digital audio restoration and mastering services, and sound design. He also uses a variety of 3D visualization tools enabling the creation of animations for web, television and film; broadcast-quality video editing; and DVD/Blu-ray title creation and mastering and of course, full dome planetarium content development.
